Netflix Chooses Ideal Actor for Bentham in the Hit Series Season 3
Baroque Works is poised to play a huge role in the forthcoming season on Netflix of One Piece, although the real showdown won’t take place until season 3, and a beloved, popular member has recently been selected.
The platform declared recently that the talented performer is now part of the One Piece cast for the third season and will portray Bentham. The role has the ability to change into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve laid a hand on with their main hand. The actor, who is non-binary and prefers they/them pronouns, will depict a version of that role reinterpreted as non-binary, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, as in the source material and animated series.
This performer joins a number of fresh additions tasked with bringing Baroque Works to reality, including head Mr. 0, brought to life by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as another operative, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is also part of the ensemble as the ruler of the desert kingdom.
Though the role is a important part of the organization, the persona won’t appear until One Piece season 3. Given the next season set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a significant shift in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could suggest further changes to the plot development.
The actor’s combination of excellent comedic sense and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the role. In addition to their current animated role in the youth-focused cartoon movie Boys Go to Jupiter, they garnered significant recognition and multiple awards for penning and acting in the successful stage production Oh Mary!, emphasizing the adaptability they’ll add to one of One Piece’s highly regarded roles.
The platform’s adapted One Piece series is scheduled to come back for its second season on the tenth of March, 2026.
