In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Adventure Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A strange encounter leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her ally from a hidden cult.

The adventure concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Metamorphoses

The preview highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking scene showing a character, likely the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
